To judge the quality of 3D TPE car mats, start with raw materials and appearance. Premium mats adopt virgin SEBS TPE with slight and non-irritating smell when unpacked, and uniform material cross-section without excessive filler impurities. They are precisely molded to match car chassis with neat raised edges and thick rims that resist curling, equipped with distinct anti-slip textures on the back. The material rebounds quickly after pressing and will not turn white or crack when folded, featuring good tensile resistance. Inferior products are usually blended with recycled materials and heavy fillers, giving off strong odor, feeling overly rigid or soft, and prone to whitening and cracks after repeated folding.

Performance and craftsmanship are another important judging standard. High-quality injection-molded mats have higher density, stable performance under extreme temperatures, free from softening in hot summer or hardening in cold winter, and easy to clean by simple water flushing. Qualified suppliers can provide environmental test reports such as RoHS and REACH. Low-cost vacuum-formed mats have uneven thickness. They tend to fade, shrink and deform under long-term sunlight exposure. The waterproof rim is fragile, susceptible to stain penetration when contacting oil, and may release volatile odor during long-term use.
